Three Different Guestbooks

Today I’ve decided to bring some different guestbook options beyond, well, a guestbook!

I want to start with one of my favorites…

I found this image from The Knot and it was photographed by Laura Ivanova.

A typewriter! This one may be a great option if you and/or your fiance are book lovers or writers. Maybe you are having a book themed wedding? Or maybe you’ve always wanted an excuse to buy a typewriter. There are plenty of reasons you might decide to opt for a typewriter as an alternative to using an actual book for a guestbook. There are some downsides as well. If you’re someone who really wants to see your friend’s and family’s handwriting, this option may not work for you. However, there are many different ways to include a typewriter into your wedding if you really want it.

This one is one I am considering using for my own wedding. I love the idea of using a globe as a guestbook. I love the idea of a guestbook I’ll have no problem displaying later on. I think this is a great option if you and you’re fiance are wanderlust or travelers at heart. Maybe your fiance is like mine and is a huge geography buff and a;ready has a thing for maps. Either way, this guestbook is a sure fire way to make your guestbook memorable for you and your guests.

I saved one of my favorite ones for last, postcards! I am in love with this idea for a guestbook. It would be such a cute and unique idea for a guestbook. It would also be so fun to collect the postcards leading up to the wedding. It is a very personal and whimsical touch to any wedding, and your guests would love getting the chance to search through the postcards.
