For my first non-introductory post, I’ve decided to highlight some of my favorite parts of a wedding– the bouquets! The bouquets I have chosen represent that lovely, moody November feeling that makes me so excited to plan a November wedding. These were some of the first bouquets I came across that I absolutely loved, so they all come from The Knot seeing as that’s the first place I was introduced to hunting for my wedding favorites.
The first bouquet I have chosen is from one of the first weddings I fell in love with. This bouquet, put together by La Boutique Nostalgie is a dahlia and garden rose bridesmaids’ bouquet from a cozy, autumnal lakeside wedding in Ohio featured on The Knot. Who says only the bride’s bouquets are worth featuring? The red lipstick and long burgundy dress match so well with the deep red dahlias and keep me coming back to this dreamy wedding.
The next bouquet is from a beautiful, romantic winter wedding also featured on The Knot. This bouquet was put together by Victory Blooms out of Georgia. One of the best parts of this bouquet is the blend of textures. The pinks keep it soft, but the varying lengths of the different blooms give the whole bouquet a wild charm.
My third bouquet, a cascading bohemian bouquet, is taken from a country wedding in North Carolina. This bouquet takes a mixture of textures to a wonderfully wild level. Unlike other red bouquets that often accent with pink or orange hues, what stands out to me the most is the cool temperatures of the greenery. What we get is an arrangement that reflects a cool, fall atmosphere. Two Buds and a Blossom out of North Carolina is the florist behind this gorgeous bouquet.
This last bouquet is a real show-stopper. I love every single element of this bouquet. The size, the texture, the colors; they all add together to a rustic, dreamy arrangement. The Coco Design Company put together this beautiful bouquet for this Maine bride’s bohemian, coastal wedding.
